Route and Itinerary: The Badimalika Trek typically starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Bajura's airport in Kolti or alternatively a series of bus rides to Martadi, the district headquarters of Bajura. From there, the trekking route meanders through picturesque villages, lush forests, terraced fields, and rugged terrains, providing an authentic experience of Nepal's rural life.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative from the trekking agency. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and a briefing about the upcoming trek. Rest and relax, and if time permits, explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or visit nearby cultural sites.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation 

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. Return to the hotel and meet with your trekking guide for a detailed briefing and equipment check for the trek. Last-minute shopping for any necessary trekking gear or supplies.

Day 03: Fly to Dhangadi and Drive to Jagada

Catch an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadi. Upon arrival in Dhangadi, meet your trekking crew and drive to Jagada, the starting point of your trek. The drive offers scenic views of the western landscape as you head towards the foothills. Overnight stay in Jagada.

Day 04: Trek to Karala

Begin your trekking journey from Jagada, passing through quaint villages and terraced fields. Enjoy the picturesque views of the landscape and the daily life of locals. Arrive at Karala, a small village surrounded by lush greenery. Set up camp for the night and enjoy a hearty dinner.

Day 05: Trek to Tribeni Badimalika 

Continue your trek, ascending through forests and crossing several streams. Reach Tribeni, the confluence of three rivers, and continue towards Badi Malika. Badi Malika is home to the revered temple of Goddess Bhagwati and holds great religious significance. Explore the area and absorb the spiritual atmosphere.

Day 06: Trek to Natshwori 

Today's trek takes you through rugged terrains and dense forests. Pass through traditional villages and enjoy the warmth of the locals' hospitality. Arrive at Natshwori, a charming village surrounded by the beauty of nature. Rest and unwind, and interact with the villagers to learn about their way of life.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 07: Trek to Mourya 

Resume your trek towards Mourya, encountering various landscapes along the way. Marvel at the stunning views of the Himalayan ranges in the distance. Pass through rhododendron forests and enjoy the tranquility of the wilderness. Reach Mourya, a serene village nestled amidst nature's splendor.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 08: Trek back to Dhangadi 

Bid farewell to the villagers of Mourya and retrace your steps back towards Dhangadi. As you descend, take in the changing scenery and relive the memorable moments of the trek. Arrive in Dhangadi and spend the evening resting or exploring the local area.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu

Catch a flight back to Kathmandu from Dhangadi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. Use the rest of the day for leisure, souvenir shopping, or simply relaxing.

Day 10: Departure

Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time in Kathmandu. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, taking with you the memories of the Badimalika Trek and the beauty of the Nepali landscapes.
