Makalu Base Camp Trek - 21 Days

Makalu Base Camp Trek, one of the most popular trekking destinations among solitary trekkers offers an exceptional opportunity to explore high-altitude terrains, snow-clad landscapes, and the ethnic Himalayan lifestyle. Makalu Base Camp Trekking opens windows to enjoy both the high Himalayan Mountains and the cultural life that thrives on their laps. The people living in the Makalu region are mainly Sherpas of Tibetan origin. They offer hospitality of the highest level and their cultural and traditional celebrations are intriguing.

The walk passes through some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, including the lush tropical greens of Arun Valley, Makalu and its tributaries, and the Khumbakarna mountain range. Kanchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, Baruntse, and Chamlang can all be seen from here. The trip's highlight will be a view of Everest's Kangshung face from Makalu Base Camp, which is rarely seen.

Amazing Trek to Makalu Base camp

My seventh trip to Nepal and I'm grateful for AAT's assistance in planning and executing it. Puru is well-organized and articulate; he answered all of our questions clearly in the months leading up to the visit, and the trek (for all eight of us) went off without a hitch.
